Your venue's time zone
Choose your venues' time zone in Settings → General and brand so the shop knows which of today's sessions have already started.
Uelta uses the time zone you set to know what time it is at your venue. It uses it to decide, for example, which of today's sessions have already passed.
How to change it
- Go to Settings → General and brand.
- On the Company and language tab, find the Language and region card.
- Open the Time zone drop-down.
- Choose your zone and click Save.
You don't need to know how to type technical names such as “Europe/Madrid”. At the top of the list, under Common, you have the most usual ones: Spain (mainland and Balearic Islands), Spain (Canary Islands), Portugal, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Andorra, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and China. Below, under All, are the rest. Each option shows its offset from UTC and the current time in that zone, so you can check at a glance that it's the right one.
What changes
- The online shop doesn't sell sessions that have already started according to this time. If a customer visits at 17:10, they will no longer see the 17:00 session.
- The venue's time is the reference for everything that depends on the day and time at your venue.
Tips
- If your venue is in the Canary Islands, choose “Spain (Canary Islands)”, not the mainland one: there is an hour's difference.
- Check the time zone before opening online sales. A mistake here can make the shop stop selling sessions that haven't started yet, or keep selling ones that are already under way.
- The change between summer and winter time is applied automatically.
