Create your products: tickets, birthday parties, passes and extras
Choose the product type, set its price, duration and VAT, and decide how it is sold online and at the POS.
Everything you sell, online or at the till, is a product. Go to Products → All products and click New product. First you choose the type:
- Timelapse · Session passes: passes by time slot (an hour of jumping, a session…).
- Standard session: entry by date or general admission.
- Birthday party pack: an event per guest or per package, with what it includes.
- Multi-visit pass: several prepaid passes to redeem.
- Gift card: a card with a balance.
- Inventory: physical items such as socks, drinks or food.
There are more types in the list (Recurring session, Package, Membership); always choose the one that best describes what you sell.
Basic details
Fill in Name, Short description (the one shown on the listing cards), Price, Category and image. In What the customer reads, add the long description, What's included and Before you come, one item per line.
Duration, schedule and VAT
In Duration, validity and capacity, enter the Session duration (min), the Minimum notice (days) and the validity dates. The VAT (%) field sets the tax for that product; with 0, its category's rate or the default rate applies, which you set in POS → VAT. Each day's sessions are scheduled in Products → Schedules, and with Rates you can have alternative prices (for example, at weekends).
Passes
In a Multi-visit pass you enter the Number of passes, the Validity (days) (left blank, it never expires) and which products it Entitles to. If you don't tick any, it can be used for any product.
Extras and upselling
Tick Web extra on an item to offer it when something is added to the basket, and choose whether it goes with tickets, birthday parties or both. On a ticket, the Upsell section lets you choose what to offer, whether it is mandatory and whether one unit is suggested per ticket (ideal for socks).
Sales requirements
With Require a customer when selling and Signed document required, the POS won't take payment until they are met.
