Capacity and resources: how many people fit and which spaces are used
Create your shared areas and exclusive rooms, and set which resources each product takes up so the system can work out occupancy for every hour.
Uelta works out how many people fit in each hour from your venue's resources and what each product takes up. You set it up in Bookings → Capacity and resources.
Resource types
- Shared (capacity): an area where several bookings overlap, such as the park. You enter how many people fit; 0 means no limit.
- Exclusive (one booking at a time): a space only one booking can use, such as a private birthday room.
Create a resource
- Click + Resource.
- Enter the Name, choose the Type and fill in Capacity: people who fit (0 = no limit).
- Add a Description if it helps, and save.
A good starting point is to create “Park” (shared, with your real capacity) and a “Private room” (exclusive) for each party room.
Set what each product takes up
Open the product in Products and find the Resources it takes up (capacity) section. Click + Resource and drag each block across the product's duration. For example, a two-hour birthday party can take up the park for the first hour and the room for the second. A block in Filler (rest of the time) mode takes up whatever time the fixed blocks leave free.
This section appears on products that take up time at the venue: session passes, standard sessions, birthday party packs and packages.
Other product limits
In the product's Duration, validity and capacity section you can also set Capacity per day, Max. per order and Min. per order. For session passes, each session in the schedule also has its own capacity.
If you delete a resource, the products that used it stop counting it.
