POS receipts and invoices
When you charge a customer who has an email address, Uelta emails them the purchase receipt. What it includes, when it arrives, how to edit it, and what about invoices and the cash drawer.
The proof of a POS sale is an email: the Purchase receipt (POS). The POS doesn't print paper receipts, and the printing options in the device settings aren't connected to any printer.
When it's sent
- It's sent automatically when you take payment, if the sale has a holder and that customer has an email address.
- To make sure it arrives, click Add holder at the POS and search for the customer by name, email or ID number before taking payment. If they don't exist yet, create them with their email in Customers → New customer.
- It isn't sent if you've switched this email off in Settings → Automatic emails.
- There's no button to send it again later.
What it includes
Your company and venue name, the sale reference (TPV-…), the date, each line with its quantity and amount, the total and the payment method. It doesn't include a VAT breakdown or your tax details.
Change the text
In Settings → Automatic emails, open Purchase receipt (POS). You can change the subject and the text, preview it, send yourself a test or switch it off.
Invoices for your customers
Uelta doesn't issue invoices for your customers, either simplified or full. If a customer asks for an invoice, create it in your invoicing software using the sale reference.
The cash drawer
Open drawer (in the POS More menu) records who opened it, when and, if the device requires it, the Reason. You'll find it in POS → Till sessions, inside each till, under Drawer openings. Uelta doesn't send the open signal to the drawer: open it with its key or button.
