In the park: real-time entry and hour passes

For parks that charge for the time spent inside. Each child starts a timer and pays for the time they actually stayed.

Set up the rate

• In Products, create or open a Ticket without time slot and tick Charged by real time.
• The product price covers the included time (e.g. €8 for the first hour). Anything beyond is charged in blocks (e.g. €2 per 15 minutes; a started block counts in full).
• Courtesy minutes avoid charging extra for a couple of minutes.

At the POS

• Open In the park (left rail or More) and press New entry. If you pick the customer on the ticket first, their children appear to tick and their signatures are checked.
• Each child has Pause and Exit. Paused time is not charged.
• Café orders go on the ticket as usual and move to the family tab with Add the ticket. Everything is paid together on the way out.
• Charge shows the detail. Untick what another family pays (e.g. at a birthday) and it stays on the tab for later.

Hour passes

In a Pass product, choose Deducted by: Hours (e.g. 10 hours). At checkout the real minutes of each child come off the family pass; siblings share it. If it runs out, the rest is charged in blocks.
