Automatic emails to your customers
Turn each notice on or off, change its text and send yourself a test before your customers receive it.
Uelta sends emails to your customers and your team when things happen: a booking, a purchase, a refund… They are all managed in Settings → Automatic emails.
Which emails there are
The list is divided into Emails the customer receives and Emails the staff receive, and only shows those for the services you have active. Customer emails include:
- Booking confirmation, Booking cancelled and Visit reminder (the last one is sent manually from the booking).
- Purchase receipt (POS), Refund completed, Gift card issued and Pass purchased.
- Signed document, with the PDF copy.
- The points club emails, if you use Marketing.
Each email shows when it is sent, how many have been sent and its status: Active · delivering, Active · ready, Last send failed or Disabled.
Turning them on or off
Use each email's switch. A disabled email is no longer sent.
Changing the text
- Click the email to open the editor.
- Change the Subject.
- In Simple mode you edit the Greeting, The first thing they read, the Data shown (tick which ones appear and what each line is called), The last thing they read and the Signature.
- If you prefer to write it all yourself, use Advanced (with variables) and click a variable to insert it. When the email is sent, it is replaced with the real data, such as the customer's name.
- Check the Preview and click Save.
With Send test you receive the email with sample data. If you are not happy with what you have changed, Reset text goes back to the original.
Good to know
- If you see Delivery managed by Uelta, you do not have to set anything up: emails are sent from Uelta on behalf of your company. You edit the texts; the design and footer are fixed.
- The logo in the header is the Logo for emails and PDFs from Settings → General and brand.
- Emails are sent in your company's main language.
