Customise the shop and put it into maintenance
Change the online shop's texts, colours, images, menu and notices, and temporarily close it to bookings without taking it offline.
The whole look of the shop is changed in Bookings → Booking site. With View shop you open it to check the result. The logo is always your brand's, in Settings → General and brand, on the Brand & logos tab.
Checkout appearance (per venue)
Here you set a Title, a Description, the Primary colour and a Background image just for the selected venue. Whatever you fill in here takes priority over the shared design.
Shop design (shared by all venues)
- Header and cover: small top text, accent colour, the venue's official website, a two-line title (the second line in colour), subtitle, decorative text and cover image.
- Notice for customers: a notice banner, by default about compulsory non-slip socks. Turn it on with Show the notice in the shop and choose its text and colours. It only appears on products that have “Notice for customers in the shop” ticked, and at checkout if the basket contains any of them.
- Top menu: up to five links. They can be external addresses (https://…) or jumps within the shop: #entradas, #cumpleanos and #horarios.
- Benefits: the three icons with a title and text under the basket.
- Promotional card (birthday) and Group card: title, text and link. The group card can lead to your group booking form.
- Footer and legal text: tagline, decorative text, secure payment note and, if you like, the URL of your terms and conditions. The legal details and privacy policy come from the venue record, and the screen warns you if any are missing.
Click Save when you've finished.
Maintenance mode
If you are changing prices, schedules or products, turn on Maintenance mode. The shop stays open but nobody can book: the customer sees a notice with your phone, WhatsApp and email so you can make the booking for them. You can write your own text in Message for the customer (optional). While it is on, no bookings come in through the website, not even from a page that was already open.
Tips
- Check that the venue's phone and email are in Settings → Venues: they are the ones shown in the notice and in “Any questions?”.
- Don't forget to turn maintenance off when you've finished.
